Full course description

This course is designed for FIU faculty, staff, and other team members who play a role in planning, hosting, or coordinating events at the university. It will prepare participants to confidently navigate the EMS WebApp, FIU’s central platform for managing space requests, enabling them to handle each step of the process with ease and accuracy. With this knowledge, attendees will be able to efficiently secure the right campus venues, coordinate required services, make necessary updates or changes, and ensure all event details are aligned with FIU’s policies, timelines, and service standards. By building these skills, participants will be better equipped to support smooth, well-organized events that reflect the university’s goals and enhance the campus experience.
