Full course description
Anxiety is a natural human experience; however, when it becomes habitual, it can shape how we think, feel, and respond to daily life. In the Rethinking Anxiety: How to Change its Habit Loop workshop, participants will gain insights into the components and manifestations of anxiety and worry while also exploring how anxiety can offer constructive opportunities for self-awareness and growth. We will discuss how anxiety forms as a habit; the habit loop that reinforces anxious patterns; and mindful attitudes and practices that support a more balanced and compassionate response to anxiety. This workshop will offer practical tools and reflective space to help participants shift their relationship with anxiety and begin breaking the habit.
This workshop will be facilitated by an Office of Employee Assistance (OEA) professional.
