Managing a remote workforce requires a mix of organization, creativity, flexibility, empathy, and clearly communicating performance expectations. In today's environment, more than ever, leaders need to be aware of the challenges employees face while working remotely. Leaders need to lead with empathy while clearly outlining objectives, setting expectations upfront, and having a clear understanding of roles, responsibilities and timelines.
