FO II: Fire Prevention Practices

This curriculum involves the theory and fundamentals of fire prevention, the single most important non-emergency activity performed by the fire service. Personnel who perform fire inspections must possess a great deal of knowledge regarding fire safety and building codes.  This course is a study of fire prevention practices, building construction, non-structural plans review, Florida Fire Prevention Code and Count y Fire Prevention Ordinances, and private fire protection and detection systems.  

It is designed to meet the minimum requirements as outlined in subsection 69A-39.005(2), F.A.C., and who are certified pursuant to Section 633.216, F.S.
