The FIU Ready program is one of many continuity planning tools used by the Department of Emergency Management (DEM) to maintain normal University operations in the face of disruptive events. Department and unit Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP) managers and teams use the FIU Ready platform to manage their unit-level COOP to plan for, respond to, and recover from emergency events such as flooding, network outages, fires, etc.

This course is an introduction to the FIU Ready system intended for COOP managers and team members. After completing the course, students will be able to:

·      Have a fundamental understanding of the FIU Ready platform

·      Learn how to access and manage their unit-level COOP
