The Parent and Family Orientation course is designed for new parents and family members of FIU students who are interested in learning important information about FIU policies, resources, and how to best support your student. While it is intended for new parents and family members, it is a great refresher course for current FIU parents and families as well!

If you are a NEW student attempting to register for Orientation, this is not the correct course. Please visit the Orientation website to learn how to register for a remote or on-campus Orientation.

Parents and/or family members will have access to pre-recorded videos, the Orientation Resource Guide, and other materials. Below is a snapshot of some participating departments.
