This HIPAA Basics compliance course will simplify HIPAA regulations and present them in a practical way for FIU faculty, staff and students. As a result, FIU will be better educated on the types of information legally covered by HIPAA, ways to handle protected health information, learn about individual rights and disclosure rules, and how to respond in the event of a security breach.
